Minions Mayhem! Drama Workshop success!

What an adventure!

Fabulous fun Minions action from all children in today’s Minions Mayhem Drama Workshop – congratulations on your successful graduation from Gru Laboratories. You learnt how to rescue trapped supervillains in the most treacherous of weather, scale tall buildings, jump out of aeroplanes and use the most advanced gadgets and weapons with ease!

Children developed confidence in performance skills, as well as communication – intonation, expression, body language and gesture are all vital when speaking in Minions language! Excellent teamwork from everybody, with sharing of ideas and a willingness to join in with all the fun. (Some children are naturally more shy than others and prefer to join in quietly – this is always completely fine; no child will be ‘forced’ to perform if they don’t want to! Being part of a group creating work is as valuable a process as standing in front of an audience – this is where the confidence begins to grow).

Big thanks to Dave Evans Design for the Minions-themed artwork – the children loved seeing Minions as Avengers and various other film and TV characters!
I would love to hear any comments from children who attended today!
Upcoming Events
The next planned drama workshop is Sunday 30th October – Hallowe’en special! Pop this date in your diary as last year this was a brilliant event – as always, fancy dress is optional but there were some fantastic efforts made in 2021!
I am also considering a second Minions workshop for 5th September as this is a teacher training day for most schools – be sure to let me know if this is of interest. Keep an eye on the Upcoming Events page for details.
