BrainyBoots Director Fiona supports the British Library to offer various teacher and students events for both primary and secondary schools. Normally behind the scenes, in June she is hosting an event to be broadcast live into schools around the world!
‘Create a handmade library with Axel Scheffler and friends’ promises to be a fantastic event for schoolchildren and home-schoolers. Children will learn how to write their own fiction and non-fiction books, turning them into a fabulous miniature library for the classroom or home.
Whether a story, a recipe, a poem or another type of text, children can choose what they want to write, and be in with a chance of winning £50 of book tokens for their school.
